Welcome!

This blog supports the book How to Get Into a Military Service Academy: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Qualified, Nominated, and Appointed, by Michael Dobson, published by Rowman and Littlefield and available from your friendly neighborhood bookstore, your school or public library, or here.

This is a temporary site we're using until the full site comes on line late in 2017. We promised to provide you with a PDF update with the latest information on this year's dates, along with any changes or additions we find. This site doesn't allow us to provide a PDF, so instead, you'll find a series of posts with the same content.

Subscribe to this blog, and you'll get email updates whenever we post new information or an updated PDF. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. We'll add your questions and answers to the FAQ section of the PDF, and try to give you the most useful reading experience possible.

To you prospective cadets and midshipmen, and to your parents, mentors, coaches, and teachers, we say welcome. The journey is a challenging one, but the rewards for the right young men and women can change your life.

If you have questions or need support on your service academy admissions process, please email me at michael.dobson@militaryacademy.info.

Good luck!
